Needle Maintenance and Rust Prevention

felting needle care and maintenance
Felt Needle

Needle Maintenance:

Regular cleaning: Regularly wipe down the felting needle to remove wool residue and maintain needle efficiency.
Avoid moisture: Store needles in a dry place to prevent rusting, especially with high carbon steel needles.
Use a needle guard: Protect the tip of the needle with a needle guard when not in use to prevent the needle from dulling or causing injury.

Felt needle anti-rust:

  • The tool is protected against rust, please wipe off the rust oil before use, and poke vertically to avoid shaking from side to side and needle breakage.
  • It is recommended to buy a replacement needle for use as it is a consumable product and will break more easily if it is not handled properly
