Felt wool needles are fragile and need to be handled carefully to avoid needle breakage.
Direction of felt needle use:
- Straight in and straight out, diagonal in and diagonal out, i.e., the direction of entry is the same as the direction of needle exit.
- Otherwise, the needle will break easily when the wool felt becomes hardened.
Strengths of felt needle use:
- Should not be too hard, poke the needle naturally in the direction of the needle can be inserted into the internal, when the hair gradually felted hard, the resistance will become greater, then the young needle can be used to continue to poke.
- Puncture depth: try to control the felt in the overall two-thirds or so, to avoid too deep, affecting the shape of the other end of the felt. Don't just poke the surface, this will affect the felting.
